Welcome to the new edition of our Better Industry overview
In the recent period, we successfully obtained the key security certificate ISO 27001:2022. Celebrated 12 years of great work by our colleague Zdeněk Krejčí, and as partners, successfully shared our experience at the CNC Invest Easter Feast and the Production Directors’ Meeting.
Additionally, from our development team, we bring a new feature: info messages sent directly to operators on the machines.
ZDENĚK KREJČÍ
SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

We remember Zdenda as a quiet high school student who came to us for a part-time job. But we are talking about a time more than 12 years ago.
Today, he is an excellent full-stack programmer who naturally navigates the boundary between software and hardware. Thanks to his own diligence and self-study, he has come a long way and is constantly looking for new ways to do things better.
In his free time, for example, he built his own smart home solution. Simply because he enjoys pushing things further. For him, technology is not just a job, but also a hobby.
At the same time, he is a person you can rely on and who gladly shares his experience with others on the team. And the quiet boy? Today, he is a witty and popular colleague who never ceases to surprise us with the new things he comes up with.
EASTER FEAST
CNC INVEST
It is no coincidence that we participated as a partner in the Easter Feast event at CNC Invest. This was already our third joint meeting. And I believe it is far from the last. CNC Invest simply knows how to prepare events that attract attention not only through the presented machines, accessories, and applications, but also through the format and composition of the visitors. Furthermore, the expert program was enriched by a panel discussion on topics that are current for every engineering manufacturing company. I am pleased that Better Industry could contribute to this discussion and share its experience in the area of manufacturing efficiency and the use of OEE in the daily practice of production managers.
The event was not just about work, though. It also brought an opportunity to experience something outside the world of machining, such as an interesting visit to the Miřejovice hydroelectric power plant. And because everything took place in the pre-Easter season, traditional treats led by the Easter lamb biscuit were not missing. The overall atmosphere was simply great.

ISO 27001:2022
The long-term goal of the Better Industry brand is to be a reliable and stable partner for our customers and business partners. Obtaining the ISO 27001:2022 certificate is one of the important steps on this path.
We do not view the certificate merely as a formal confirmation. But above all as a commitment to the systematic management of information security, a responsible approach, and the continuous improvement of our processes and delivered solutions.
We thank everyone who contributed to this success, whether within the team or among our partners. Together, we are building solid foundations for long-term trust and quality cooperation.

DEVELOPMENT NEWS: INFO MESSAGES
Info Messages Directly on the Machine
We are introducing a new feature: the ability to send targeted info messages to operators directly into the application on specific machines. Information thus gets exactly where it is needed at that moment—without delay, without distortion, and without the need to pass through multiple levels of communication. This method significantly increases the certainty that an important message actually reaches the right person at the right time.
The entire process is designed to be as simple and fast as possible. Just create a message, add an attachment if necessary, select specific machines or workplaces, and send it with a single click. The operator immediately sees the message directly in their application, can open it, and subsequently mark it as read, which creates clear feedback.
Another great advantage is the overview of delivery and reading status. You have specific data on who opened the message and when, which brings higher control over internal communication. This information can also be used as documentation for auditing purposes, for example, in the areas of OHS (Occupational Health and Safety), HR, or compliance.
The result is more efficient, more targeted, and fully traceable communication in production. You eliminate informational noise, reduce the risk of misunderstandings. And at the same time strengthen accountability and awareness across the entire team.

PRODUCTION DIRECTORS’ MEETING
In this year’s spring edition of the traditional “Production Directors’ Meeting” event. We had the opportunity to become a partner of the occasion. Our presence was enhanced by the participation of a representative from Federal-Mogul Valvetrain (part of the Tenneco group), namely Bohumír Novák, Head of Production.
Together with Mr. Novák, we presented the digitization process of their production under the slogan “Digitization as a Never-Ending Process.” Although digitization is omnipresent today and might seem like a matter of course, we received positive feedback on this presentation, as well as invitations to other companies to look at the digitization process at their facilities too.
The atmosphere of this event was very pleasant, and it was evident that professionals from manufacturing companies with an interest in the same topics and sharing valuable information meet here. We will gladly keep coming back.
