We are expanding the functionality of our systems with a new “SMS Gateway” service, which brings an additional way to efficiently inform users about important events in production, maintenance, or energy management. Previously, it was only possible to send notifications and alerts via email. However, we now offer the option to send warnings in the form of SMS messages as well—meaning faster, directly, and without depending on the availability of or access to an email inbox.
BI Control system for machine and downtime management
Every authorized user can easily define specific actions or statuses that automatically trigger an SMS message, while also setting custom message text and a recipient list. Thanks to this, alerts can be fully customized to the operational needs of the given company.
Automated SMS reporting from production
The service is provided through an SMS gateway and is a paid feature. It is based on a monthly expense for sent SMS messages plus a service fee. The operation of this service is tied to a service contract, which ensures technical support and regular billing.
Billing Example
To give you a better idea, the billing for the service might look like this:
- Service fee: 400 CZK / month
- SMS price: €0.049 × 4,000 SMS × EUR/CZK exchange rate on the last day of the month
The monthly invoice also includes a consumed SMS report, which clearly shows the volume of sent messages and the total cost.
SMS reporting statistics in the manufacturing system
This service is subject to an individual price quotation. A flat rate applies for volumes up to 10,000 sent SMS messages, while higher volumes are handled by agreement. Thanks to the SMS gateway, you can rest assured that critical events will reach the right people on time—whether it is an urgent alarm, equipment status information, or an action confirmation within the system.
